m moderate speed faster than usual xD
h is the high-speed transmission
The higher the faster implementation of the unity of the image can be faster and more willing to accept .... Next

The original xD card can support up to 512 MB. To the memory capacity, a new architecture increases were introduced with the M-type card which could have up to 8 GB was but a little slower.

Type H cards are much faster (up to x3).

The other question that you are looking for are not really answering questions on the memory card, but other functions of the camera.
